Empty Homes Tax Information Workshop 19+ yrs

Vancouver homeowners are invited to attend this free information session on the Empty Homes Tax. If you own a home in Vancouver, you are required to make an Empty Homes Tax property status declaration by February 2, 2018. At this session, City of Vancouver staff will be available to answer your questions, provide you with step-by-step instructions on how to make your declaration, and assist you with making your declaration online. Concussion Management Workshop 16+yrs

Certified Athletic Therapists will lead participants through best practices in understanding brain injury, sport risk factors, prevention techniques and concussion management guidelines. Participants will review on-field assessment techniques, the use of the SCAT 3 tool and return to play protocols. Participants will be given time for sport specific questions.This course is approved for 2.0 BCRPA Continuing Education Credits.

Certified Athletic Therapists will cover taping techniques used in a sport setting through a combination of lecture and practical sessions. Japanese Box Bookbinding 19+yrs

Participants will learn how to make a beautiful box in using a historical Japanese method. Beautiful decorative paper and book cloth are used to finish a roughly 6″ × 4″ × 2″ box with a bone clasp closure. No prior bookbinding or Box Making experience is required.
