An Award of Appreciation from Vancouver School Board

The Kerrisdale Community Centre Society (KCCS) recently received an Award from the Vancouver School Board’s Settlement Workers in Schools (SWIS) program in appreciation of its collaboration and support in hosting Youth Volunteer Fairs and Chinese New Year celebrations in past years. KCCS Board members joined National Aboriginal Day Celebration

The Kerrisdale Community Centre Society (KCCS) was invited by the Musqueam Indian Band to attend their National Aboriginal Day Celebration on June 19, 2015. KCCS was represented by Fred Jay – Vice President, Barb Mikulec – Chair of Program Committee, Terry Kong – Board Member and Alison Verghese – Administrative Assistant. Strong Presence at 2015 Kerrisdale Carnival

           Hundreds of Carnival spectators and shoppers stopped by the Kerrisdale Community Centre Society (KCCS) booth in front of the CIBC Bank on West 41st Avenue and Vine Street during the 2015 Kerrisdale Carnival Day on April 25.
