Achieving Goals & Success through a Growth Mindset

Many students start by having big goals and aspirations for their future and they are excited about achieving them. But once they face the difficulties they need to overcome in order to reach those goals, many of them lower their standards or settle for easier goals that they feel comfortable achieving. The biggest threat to a successful future is when children get into a habit of ‘playing it safe’. It’s important for parents to be aware of the self-sabotaging habits a student’s fixed mindset creates and know how to foster a growth mindset in their children. In the workshop you will learn to: emphasizing on the process of learning, teach your child(ren) to fail successfully, and embrace tests as assessments as tools for learning.

Often Canadians take a supplement they don’t need but don’take one they might need. Find out when it might be a good idea to take a supplement and when it is best to rely on food, and before you next reach for that bottle of vitamin C or fish oil pills, you may want to ask yourself whether you need them in the first place.
